If you have followed Sensational Path this week on social media you know that Betty White got a huge makeover. I connected with @sonz1 a graffiti artist in Medicine Hat and he did an amazing job painting the bus so that she stands out on the road. But it’s still what’s inside the bus that makes the difference to the kids and families I work with. Learn about the whole transformation and what is in store for the bus “down the road”.
Check out the bus on social media and I should have new photos up on my website soon.
The Roots of Behaviour is an online course for parents to understand the reason for behaviour and the possible sensory aspects of the behaviour. Once we understand the function of the behaviour then we can help the child manage with tools from our toolbox! This is the goal of the 6 week course.
Send me a message with your behaviour or sensory questions and I’ll answer them in an email and possibly a podcast episode.
Please follow on social media for more information about sensory integration @sensationalpath
I would encourage you to go back and listen to the full episode and tune in for what 2021 has in store.

When we can identify the root of a behavior, the situation and circumstances behind the behavior, we can better understand what is going on, and what we can do to manage, to support the child and the family.
Erin offered an online course, The Roots of Behavior in June 2020 to help parents understand the reasons for the behaviors they were seeing, and ways to manage and support the child and the family.
The 4 reasons for behavior discussed here are: Escape, Tangible, Attention/Connection, and Sensory or a combination of all of these.
Watch for Roots of Behavior coming again Soon.
